Campus Victim Advocate

The Campus Victim Advocate is housed in the Bryant Student Health Center and provides FREE and CONFIDENTIAL services to primary and secondary survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, and human trafficking. This includes faculty, staff, undergraduate students, and graduate students at Pittsburg State University.

Confidential Advocacy Services for Sexual and Intimate Partner Survivors

  • Individual Support Counseling

  • Crisis Intervention

  • Education & Programs

  • Information & Referrals

  • Assists in Navigating PSU and Community Resources

  • Support Groups

  • Court Accompaniment

  • Protection Order Filing Assistance

  • Lends Support during reporting (both PSU and Law Enforcement) 

  • Medical and Forensic Accompaniment

  • Title IX Advisor
  • Safety Planning

The Campus Victim Advocate is required under the Clery Act to provide statistical information to PSU that is not personally identifiable. The advocate will always tell people prior to disclosures about her responsibilities and provide other options of where they can receive services if they'd prefer completely confidential resources.
